Is the USA caught in a Chinese Spider web where the Chinese Spider is getting rich off the USA?

USA gave China "Most Favored Trading Status" and China benefited from it by exporting to the USA to take advantage of the Consumer Spending Power of Americans leading to a trade deficit, loss of profits for american businesses.

It is like Uncle Sam is in the spider web with the Chinese Spider taking apart bit by bit.

Despite what you think, China will never be a Super Power. Go and study Karl Marx’s theory of Base and Superstructure. Then you’ll understand.

Jobs revival myth?

On Friday the unemployment rate dropped to 8.3 percent. According to some reports, 243,000 new jobs were added in the month of January. This is has been the fifth consecutive month that the unemployment rate has fallen. Of course there the mainstream media is rejoicing the better than expected numbers, but the US is still down about 6 million jobs fro before the recession started. Joe Weisenthal, deputy editor of Business Insider, explains the numbers for us.

4. Census has calculated that since 2000 to 2010 that 250,000 people have left Detroit.

Apple Names Browett to Lead Retail Business

Jan. 31 (Bloomberg) — Apple Inc. named John Browett, the chief executive officer of the largest U.K. consumer-electronics retailer, to run its stores, ending more than seven months of searching for an executive to oversee international expansion.
Browett, who had been CEO of Dixons Retail Plc, will start at Apple in April as senior vice president, Apple said in a statement today. Elliott Gotkine reports on Bloomberg Television’s "InsideTrack." (Source: Bloomberg)

Do you think it is unfair to ask USA big businesses to pay taxes on imports they manufacture overseas?

Should we really be giving tax breaks to companies that manufacture overseas, eliminating our jobs and then selling us their imported products back to us?

The products are not considered imports as they are manufactured by American companies…so that import tax wouldn’t hold water. I would rather we cut government spending instead of adding tax. And, Obama’s latest is only going to make matters worse. Now, he wants to make the minimum wage $9.50 instead of the current $6.55. I wonder how many jobs that is going to cost us. Combine that with the requirement that the employers pay for health care…and who would blame them for leaving the country. Even a tax break won’t make them stay here.
